ABOVE: Dad & Brian after we got the motor and trans back in as one unit, it took all of 20 minutes
BELOW: thanks to ZOOM the clutch and pressure plate are in
ABOVE: the motor ready to drop back in minus some minor bolt ons
BELOW: Christopher helping to bolt the flywheel back on the motor
BELOW: the small block torn apart thanks to Jeremy Pyott part the Pyott Racing family, now it's time to start talking to people about a cam, pistons and the internals of the motor.
ABOVE: getting ready to start blocksanding the body and then use a building primer to fill any small imperfections
BELOW: the flare installed and now it's time to start feathering inthe body work so there is no visible signs of cutting and molding
ABOVE: molding the front ZL1 flares onto the body
BELOW: cutting away the original fender and preparing to adhere the flare onto the car
Above: this is what every gear heads perfect body shop looks like, you have the convertible1968 Pontiac GTO, the 1967 Ford Mustang GT and the 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray...... SPEED Channel should do an episode at MIller Bros. Auto Body.
Below: the AC unit removed, if you look 2 pictures below you can see what was actually removed. We'll build a template and install a cover to the heater core and remount the blower motor back into the firewall. This will give the engine bay alot cleaner look plus get rid of stuff that wouln't be used anyway.
Above: both fender tops cut out using an air saw and cutting wheel, next week hopefully we'llget the louvers installed
Below: the passenger side louver sitting in position, still needs fiberglasses underneath and molded from the top
Above: Rick MIller cutting away the fiberglass to install the Daytona louvers from Ecklers Corvette
Below: the motor pulled and starting to mock up some of the misc. pieces, she needs torn down and overhauled though before she'll go back in the car
Above: thanks to my dad for the help getting the motor and trans out, and to Rick & Kenny for lending a hand when the hoist jammed up
Below: now that the driveline is out Rick can start working his skills on the louvers and front fender flares
Above: the motor is out, the rental engine hoist locked up and we still needed about 3-4 inches of clearance to get out of the body so a second hoist came into play (I should've taken a picture of that)
Below: the empty and ugly engine bay, that will all change soon enough
Above: the motor getting ready to be pulled out and overhauled for our build
Below: the Super T-10 4 speed, a pain to get out of the car with the crossmember and linkage

the bottom 2 pictures: shows the front view w/ the Daytona 4 front bumper molded to the body, and thanks to J&S Auto and Scotts Towing both from WIllow Street, PA for getting the car to MIller Bros. for the final body prep, paint and then decals. I apologize for not keeping everything up to date as of lately things have been hectic w/ Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. I work on updating everything in the next 2 or 3 days. thanks
bottom pic- getting the rear bumper and fender flares molded into the body, plus you can see the fiberglass exhaust shields for the side pipes.
Aug 8th- pics of the seats being done by Performance Choice sister company to MA Motorworks. A special thanks to Jill Winters, Scott Bohannon & Henk Vandongen, with these people on our side and contributing to the build we would have very drab original worn interior. This is custom stitched interior no other like it, I think when people see the interior alone they will be awe struck..... when the car is completed it's going one heck of a piece of work. We couldn't do this without ALL of our supporters.

Monday July 25th. everything is okayed with Miller Bros Auto Body to get the fiberglass installed and the paint sprayed. Also spoke to several potential sponsors ranging from brakes, wheels and performance engine parts. Also the front and rear bumpers and the INDY spoiler are all installed. Got an e-mail from Jackie at Vanacors last week and she said the front bumper grill inserts are on their way to PA.
Thursday June 9th- sending out e-mails and on the phone with people about helping to get the powerplant finished so we can hopefully put this car in the books and have the finshed build documented.
Tuesday June 7th: the seats are shipped out to Performance Choice so they can do their magic with the interior, we also decided to upgrade the door panels to match and have the panels finished in the Deluxe style offered in 75'........ Also spoke toRick Miller of Miller Bros. Auto Body who is going to be doing the paint and installing all the fiberglass pieces on the body. Trust me in my younger years Miller Bros. did some amazing work on my cars after accidents I cannot wait to see when they are finished witht htis car. The coolest thing is that Mr. Rick Miller is also who brings Gap Cancer Aid to Lancaster County every year.
