The Corvette
The car is a 1975 Corvette Stingray t-top, originally the car was white with saddle interior. The car has a 350 small block attached to a 4 speed munci. We are planning on putting a 1981-82 front bumper assembly on the car along with ACI fender flare package molded into the car with a L88 hood to finsih off the body before paint. The car will be painted Plum Crazy Purple (general awareness) with the words "Beat Cancer get on it Fast" running with the body lines on the rear quarter panels (writing will be in Gold-Childhood Cancers). The doors will both waer white circles (Lung Cancer) approx 30" in diameter with the number 16 in black (Melanoma) . Honor was 16 months old when she was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma. The exhaust will flow out from the engine via Hooker sidemount headers running into 4" tubes.
The car will proudly wear the decals supplied by anyone who sponsors in helping with the build, the car will be clear coated after all decals are applied to ensure a great look and no peeling. Anyone wishing to help in this project is greatly encouraged to do so please e-mail me at- michaehersh42@yahoo.com I will continue to update this web page and post more pictures of the car as progress happens.
